There is a need to see far from today to better take decision. Precipitation is key factor for Water Resources Management in a context of changing climate. What parameters gouverning precipitation (monthly at least)? how they are acting? can we identify statistical relation ships between precipitation and its main gouverning factors and model them for medium term forecasting? Accurate precipitation prediction, enve for one future month, will have high positive impact on most of farming systems, by reducing water consumption and optimizing inputs mamangement as well as infrastructure protection (floods) and crisis management.
