Established in Albania in 1996, CLWG has a long-standing commitment to addressing gender-based violence and countering violent extremism through comprehensive support services, educational initiatives, and capacity-building programs. Our organization operates the National Helpline for Victims and provides a range of services, including psychosocial and legal support, vocational training, and reintegration programs for survivors of violence. In 2018, we expanded our mission with the Center for Peace and Security Albania, focusing on radicalization prevention and supporting at-risk communities. CLWG also offers specialized programs for returned foreign fighters, collaborating closely with national and international stakeholders.
With substantial experience in rehabilitation, reintegration, and hate speech prevention, CLWG brings a unique blend of expertise, particularly in gender-sensitive approaches to P/CVE, research, and capacity-building for institutional actors. We also possess robust partnerships with governmental and educational bodies, bolstering our capacity to implement impactful, scalable solutions.
We believe that our proven track record projects, coupled with our deep-rooted expertise in gender and security issues, positions us as a valuable partner for this call. We would be delighted to discuss how our combined efforts could address the call’s objectives effectively.
Please feel free to reach out to us to discuss potential synergies. We are actively looking to join proposals that require our expertise.
