The European Union recognizes entrepreneurship as a key driver for the socio-professional integration of young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027) highlights the need to promote social inclusion and economic empowerment of young people through innovative initiatives. Additionally, the Action Plan for the Social Economy underlines the importance of supporting responsible and sustainable entrepreneurial models, particularly in promising sectors such as sports and well-being.

However, young people from priority neighborhoods face structural barriers to entrepreneurship: lack of access to appropriate training, limited professional networks, and a lack of awareness of existing opportunities. Yet, the sports and well-being sectors are rapidly growing, offering employment opportunities and accessible entrepreneurial initiatives.

Project Objectives

The "Sports & Entrepreneurship: A Springboard for Youth" project aims to:

1. Enhance entrepreneurial skills of young people from priority neighborhoods through tailored training programs and concrete educational tools.

2. Create innovative educational resources (guides, e-learning modules, inspiring testimonials) to democratize access to entrepreneurship in the sports and well-being sectors.

3. Encourage partnerships between educational institutions, businesses, and sports stakeholders to facilitate support and access to funding.

4. Promote inspiring success stories by highlighting entrepreneurial journeys of individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Planned Actions

• Development of educational deliverables: creation of a practical guide and training modules on entrepreneurship in sports and well-being.

• Training workshops to strengthen young people's skills in management, marketing, and structuring an entrepreneurial project.

• Networking opportunities connecting young people with entrepreneurs and mentors to facilitate their integration and skill development.

• Organization of European events to share best practices and promote collaboration among engaged stakeholders.

We are looking for European partners interested in participating in an innovative project with significant social impact. Ideally, our partners are organizations active in education, socio-professional integration, sports, or entrepreneurship, willing to co-develop educational tools and experiment with inclusive approaches at the European level.

This project aligns with a European vision of youth empowerment through entrepreneurship, providing young people with the means to realize their potential and contribute to a more inclusive and dynamic economy.
