This project will develop training materials on the CEFR, DigComp, EntreComp, and GreenComp frameworks for adult educators. These frameworks provide a common language for describing and understanding skills and competences in a variety of areas.
The materials will be designed to help adult educators better understand these frameworks and how to use them to support the learning of their adult learners. The project will also provide training to adult educators on how to use microcredentials to recognize and validate the skills of their learners. Microcredentials (MCs) are small, digital credentials that recognize the skills and knowledge of an individual. They can be used to demonstrate skills to employers, educational institutions, and other organizations. Partners will define the MCs and try apply a common definition with standards and key principles for their design, use, and scalability.
The project is aligned with the E+ priorities of improving the availability of high-quality, flexible, and recognized learning for adults and increasing take-up and improving inclusiveness and accessibility of adult education. The project will contribute to the development of the adult education sector by providing adult educators with the skills and knowledge they need to better support the learning of their adult learners.
