The primary objective of the Ecosystem for Digital Education is to provide a new knowledge base (place and space) on the needs and developments of the European Educational Ecosystem, to provide innovative scenarios and digital tools, as well as to increase its competitiveness, and promote new digital educational activity and diversity through the development of a platform for remote immersive co-creative engagement of all stakeholders in the sector. The Ecosystem for Digital Education project aims to improve:

• The Coalition aims to strengthen the European Educational Ecosystem by creating an immersive web-based platform. This platform will incorporate advanced features such as semantics, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and immersive technologies.
• Its primary goal is to facilitate better connections and collaborations among stakeholders involved in education. These features will enhance the matchmaking process, ensuring more effective engagement and participation.
• the interactive model of Ecosystem for Digital Education is to embed Media and Digital Literacy and ICT trends in the Online Platform that will positively affect its various sub-sectors of pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution of Educational Courses, Training, and Video materials,
• the sustainability of the traditional channels in the European Educational Ecosystem through the development of an innovative solution that comes from Digital IC Technologies and makes the global VET and MOOC production more durable in periods with restrictions or in unpredictable situations.

Accordingly, three main challenges will be addressed by the scientific and innovation activities of the project:

• Accelerate the transformation of the Ecosystem for Digital Education to become a contemporary and efficient tool,
• Strengthen the unity of the European Educational Ecosystem against market fragmentation,
• Provide innovatively and democratized Ecosystem for Digital Education sustainable platform for the European Educational Ecosystem.
