Call for proposals 2019 — EAC/A03/2018 — Erasmus+ Programme  (6th April 2019)

The Sport Council of Pla d'Estany (Catalonia) is looking for project Partners for the following project proposal:

Main Objective: To enhance sports practice in local sports entities for children and young people at risk of social exclusion, mainly immigrants

Specific Objectives:

• To develop an effective intervention methodology that allows continuing sports practice to be made accessible to local sports entities for children and young people at risk of social exclusion.
• To create the bases on which the project can grow over the years independently (without Erasmus + grant).
• To focus on equal opportunities for sport.
• To put into practice the methodology proposed through a pilot test.
• To obtain the results of the pilot test and review and complement the intervention methodology, taking into account the results obtained by the partners of the program.
• Training the professionals involved in the intervention process (entities and volunteering).
• To involve local sports entities.
• To publicize the results through dissemination activities (conferences, physical material, seminars).
• Promote volunteering through the project.

Phases of the project

• Phase A. Design of the Methodology of Intervention: To identify cross-sectional methodological lines to all vulnerable groups, appropriate to implement during the project
• Phase B. Pilot Test: To implement the methodology focused on a previously chosen group.
• Phase C. Data collection and Evaluation: Analyze the impact of the methodology implemented
