Bolu province is home to the most visited protected areas in Turkey with its natural areas. The Nature Conservation and National Parks Branch Directorate operates in an area of approximately 171,000 hectares, including 2 national parks, 11 nature parks, 3 nature conservation areas, 3 wildlife development areas and 2 wetlands. In addition to studies on protected areas in our nature education centers located in Abant and Yedigöller national parks, nature education, hunter education and area introductions to visitors are carried out. We want to share our experiences, get out of the rural areas where we are stuck and see what others are doing, and develop a guide that will enable us to make conscious trips in nature with the experiences we have gained.
We aim for the guide to benefit us in the following areas and to provide a change in nature-centered behavior in visitors;
1. Effective visitor management
2. Effective nature education content
3. Awareness of wildlife
4. Nature-conscious tourist
In order to achieve these goals, we have identified some activities, the content of which can of course be changed and developed according to our cooperation .
As we have stated before, we would like to develop these contents a little more with our partners. We are looking for partners who are active in nature conservation and national parks and who would like to carry out projects with us in this regard.
Thank you in advance for your contribution.
If you would like to join our consortium, please contact me without hesitation.
