The European Commission has adopted several policies to strengthen Europe’s commitment to equality, including:

  • A strategy for gender equality;
  • An action plan against racism;
  • A strategic framework for Roma inclusion;
  • A strategy for the rights of LGBTIQ persons;
  • A strategy for the rights of persons with disabilities.

Despite their wealth of skills and potential, these populations often face discrimination or stereotypes that hinder their access to the job market. At the same time, European companies—while increasingly valuing transversal skills (soft skills)—struggle to fully embrace diversity due to organizational barriers or unconscious biases.

The “Difference(s)” project aims to promote workplace inclusion by valuing Differences as an asset for candidates and a strategic lever for employers.

Professional inclusion is not only an ethical imperative: it is also a performance driver for businesses and a key factor for social cohesion. However, to transform Differences into strengths and overcome resistance, it is essential to act simultaneously on three fronts:

  1. Strengthening the skills and self-esteem of job seekers from these groups by highlighting their personal and professional journeys as well as their unique strengths.
  2. Training and raising awareness among companies to embrace diversity by providing them with tools and methodologies to foster authentic and sustainable inclusion in their recruitment and talent management practices.
  3. Enhancing existing professional teams around workplace diversity and inclusion.

We are seeking a European partner who is eager to contribute their expertise and propose an innovative and collaborative approach to overcoming these challenges. Together, we aim to build bridges between job seekers and companies, making Differences a driving force for positive transformation in the labor market.
