As you already know universities make great efforts to strengthen their research infrastructures, increasing their competitiveness in new collaborations and reaching to international funds. As Süleyman Demirel University (SDU), we have tried to establish a mechanism that will lead us to success in line with this purpose over the years. We provide various supports to our faculty members so that they can reach new funding sources through projects. In the Research and Innovation Directorate (ayd.sdu.edu.tr), which we have established to carry out and coordinate research activities within our university, we provide different types of support such as project writing and execution trainings, mentoring support for ongoing projects and preliminary research support to increase the project writing skills of our faculty members.  We will apply to the call for Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education (KA220-HED) with the project titled “DEVELOPING NEW COLLABORATIONS FOR AN EMPOWERED RESEARCH ECOSYSTEM” in order to develop this mechanism we have established, to see examples of applications on a European scale, to share experience and to develop a new model in its extension. We will be happy if you accept to work with us as a partner in this project. As you know our universities have an ongoing bilateral agreement.
