The Municipality of Kraljevo (Serbia) is helping to form a consortium for the upcoming CERV-2025-CITIZENS-CIV – Citizens’ Engagement and Participation call (deadline: 29 April 2025). As an experienced promoter of civic dialogue, youth participation, and democratic values, the city is in charge of a transnational project titled (working title) “Movement for Participation – Young Citizens Shaping Europe.”

The project aims to empower young people through participatory methods, using sport, culture, and community dialogue to foster civic engagement, intercultural exchange, and inclusion. It focuses on strengthening European values, encouraging democratic participation, and creating meaningful cooperation between citizens, local governments, and civil society actors.

We are currently looking for motivated partners from EU Member States and associated countries active in youth, civic education, human rights, culture, and sports. Ideal partners include municipalities and local authorities, youth organizations, NGOs with experience in civic engagement, and sports or cultural associations interested in promoting social inclusion and active citizenship.

Partners are expected to contribute to the local implementation of activities such as civic workshops, youth debates, sports, and arts-based engagement actions and to support international exchange, communication, and dissemination efforts. Preference will be given to organizations with experience in EU-funded cooperation that are willing to shape and implement the concept actively.
