Blockchain technology is increasingly being recognized for its potential to revolutionize the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in enhancing prevention of counterfeiting drugs. By leveraging blockchain technology, we aim to ensure the authenticity and traceability of pharmaceuticals from manufacturing to the end consumer (patient).

That blockchain-based application for addressing medical drug counterfeiting enhances transparency by providing a secure, immutable system for tracking drugs throughout their lifecycle. From manufacturing to consumer purchase, each drug unit is assigned a unique digital identity recorded on the blockchain.

Stakeholders— such as manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and consumers— will be able to trace a drug's journey through the supply chain, verifying its authenticity at every step. Smart contracts automate regulatory compliance, ensuring that drugs meet safety standards, expiration checks, and handling requirements, making the system tamper-resistant and reducing the risk of counterfeit drugs entering the market.

This application - aim to - provide numerous benefits, including enhanced transparency, improved trust among stakeholders, and simplified regulatory auditing, as authorities will be equipted with the tools to monitor. Consumers can easily verify the legitimacy of their drugs by scanning a QR code, accessing the complete history (processes ie mixing, tableting ..., to storage) stored on the blockchain.

The decentralized nature of blockchain ensures that records cannot be altered, significantly reducing counterfeiting and increasing accountability within the pharmaceutical industry.

By integrating with existing systems and leveraging advanced technologies like IoT for condition monitoring, this solution enhances the security and reliability of the global drug supply chain.
