The students’ stay with professional practice in Italy is consistent with the long term goals of our school, i.e. preparation of an educated professional with an appropriate portfolio of professional competence. It's the best way of getting innovations in the study field, exchange of experience and materials to motivate students to education. The Italian experts’ know-how transfer will lead to the growth of education and greater competitiveness for our future graduates.The project supports international cooperation between secondary vocational school of the Czech Republic (majoring in Social Work, and Hotel management and Tourism, and professional institutions in Italy), the project will involve:- On the Czech side there is the group of 30 students from Integrated Secondary School Moravská Třebová and 2 teachers as accompanying persons.- On the Italian side there is the educational institute Ial Innovazione Emilia Romagna Lavoro Apprendimento S.r.L. Impresa Sociale and its partner workplaces.The mobility will be carried out in one run of 2 weeks during September and October 2016. The internship for 20 participants from the hotel industry field is focused on Mediterranean cuisine. The participants will not only get comprehensive know-how on the Mediterranean gastronomy and typical food and drinks served, but they develop their communication skills in a foreign language, gain experience in a real market environment, international contacts, and establish friendly relations within the team. The first week the students will have practical work under the guidance of Italian teachers in the educational institute IAL. The second week they will work in different departments of hotels. Students will alternate the workplaces and it will allow them to get a comprehensive overview of the operation of these offices during normal operation.At the same time there will also be the internship for 10 participants from the field of social care activities. Professional internship in the social facilities for seniors in Italy is entirely consistent with the content field of study Nursing Assistant and Social Activities. The first week the students will have practical work under the guidance of Italian teachers in the educational institute IAL. The second week the students will work to develop and strengthen their skills by actively participating in professional practice in a senior home in Cervia.The objectives of the project are in line with the intention of our school and the long-term intention of education and development of the educational system in our region. The main objective of the project is to improve teaching students at ISS Moravská Třebová and to prepare them for the profession of social work and catering as well as possible. Furthermore, we set these goals that are consistent with the objectives of Erasmus +:- the increase of employability and its improvement on the European labour market;- the increased of ability to succeed in self-employment;- the development of students' personal qualities (responsibility, independence, crisis response, value orientation);- practicing foreign language communication in the area of professional terminology - better knowledge of foreign languages;- becoming familiar with the culture and mentality of the population - increase of the intercultural awareness;- support for professional development to mobility, in particular:a) introduction to modern trends in the field of social welfare and their subsequent use in theoretical and practical training;b) knowledge of the Mediterranean, especially Italian cuisine, mastering new technological procedures;- better eligibility of the competencies acquired during their studies abroad;- last but not least, improvement of the quality and international cooperation, which is in compliance with the strategic documents of our school.To improve the quality of transnational mobility, refine the results of mobility and facilitate the evaluation of the results of mobility will use ECVET.Within the project we want to focus on three core themes1. Key and professional competence - developing and practicing basic skillsDuring the internship students will have the opportunity to practice key and professional competences and skills acquired during their studies in real practice for a foreign partner. 2. Teaching and learning foreign languagesStudents will have the opportunity to practice conversation in a foreign language in real operation of the foreign workplace. Moreover, before leaving for an internship there will be organized a course in the basics of the Italian language with an emphasis on technical terminology.3. Healthy lifestyle, active agingThe program of the stay will content the courses of Italian gastronomy on the receiving workplace training organization that will also include lessons dietary and basics of healthy Mediterranean diet.
