Zvyšování kvality práce mládeže v mírových otázkách

The project focuses on raising quality of youth work within the peace ideas and respond to the needs of youth volunteers. These groups of volunteers are active in the work of partner organizations (Institute of Human Rights, NESEHNUTÍ Brno, Stockholms fredsförening) that aimed at fight against the arms trade, antimilitarizm, peace movements etc. The project offers the possibility to deepen knowledge of volunteers in the area of arms trade, to get tools for development of activizm and voluntary work in nongovernmental nonprofit organizations, to set international cooperation of youth volunteer groups and to develop competences and proffessional rise of volunteers within their future possibilities on label market among NGO. The project includes 18 volunteers and 3 leaders. The number of participants is balanced for all partner countries - Czech Republic, Slovakia, Sweden. The project will reach the aims through the programme activities of international youth exchange. The project uses of non-formal learning methods and will involve the participants through the discussion, workshops, lectures, interactive selflearning and selfreflexive activities. The results of the project are the development of comeptences measurable through the booklet for new volunteers about the arms trade, antimilitarizm, peace movements etc. The impact of the project is mainly in the work of volunteers in the campaigns of organizations. The project also strenghten the motivation of volunteers to further cooperation and through this aspec project supports the flow of organization. In relation to other target groups, the impact of the project will be on the responsible public authorities. The youth work within the campaign is directed to these authorities who have effect on the legislative process. The volunteers will get the tools for the direct actions along with the knowledge about the legislative within the national and international measure.
