Date du début: 1 juin 2016, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

During the last decades, there have been significant changes regarding the teaching of the writing. In recent years, the complex nature of the writing process was the subject of many research fields, since, although it began to be studied as a cognitive process, it is now also being studied as a social practice. In modern language teaching proposals that focus on the consideration of writing as a social practice, and according to the directives of the Ministry of Education towards teachers, through circulars, national curriculum, etc., the main issue is to cultivate creative and critical attitudes of students, through the production of written texts. The implications will be examined; the change from the present approach and how creative writing, which is expressed with creative behaviour and manifested through ingenuity, composition and design, and its practices which assist the success of these possibilities can be acquired by the student. The consortium, having the above in mind, but also through the relevant educational experience of many years, has decided that there is an urgent need for conducting a project entitled "I live - I write - I create in the 21st century", which aims for participants of the said training programme to develop skills and abilities regarding the teaching quality in the field of creative writing. The need has been recognised to elaborate on new pedagogical methods and tools to enhance their European dimension and to acquire new knowledge and good practices relating to the organisation of learning and teaching and networking with other relevant bodies and organisations. Teachers participating in this programme will have the opportunity to be trained in modern methods of creative writing culture and gain skills and literary writing teaching skills. In addition, they will participate in workshops with a variety of creative writing activities based on theoretical background, but also convert theory into practice, taking into account the diversification of language teaching and learning. An important point is the fact that the participants of the seminars will disperse the results of the training and educate a large number of teachers on the subjects that they themselves will be taught, with their participation in this training programme for teachers. To achieve the above objectives, the consortium will attend training courses of the following activities as mentioned above and more extensively in the application:1. Participation in the Great Writing International Creative Writing Conference, Imperial College London, 18 - 19/6/2016.2. Educational Seminar on Creative Writing: Free and structured activities / Creative writing in the service of teaching the literary text. University of Athens. Professor Dr. T. Kalogerou, October 2016.3. A five-day seminar of Creative Writing. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Professor A. Karakitsios. March 20174. A five-day seminar on "Teaching Creative Writing". Florina University. Professor Dr. Tr. Kotopoulos, April 2017.5. National Conference of “creative writing”, Greece, Spring 2017.The consortium involves 14 people; inspectors, consultants for the language lesson, and teachers of the primary schools of Kiti, Mazotos and Agia Napa. All have a postgraduate degree, while some also possess a PhD. Almost all have been involved in the past in European programmes, while one teacher is an ambassador of eTwinning. It is expected that these individuals have the skills and capabilities to act as reproducers of knowledge gained from participation in the seminars, which are specified in the application to all schools and to all teachers of Larnaca and Famagusta. Specifically, when the above training has been accomplished and feedback has been exchanged regarding the findings from the newly-acquired knowledge, activities will be carried out, details of which are referred to in the application, for the distribution of results and the circulation of ideas and practices. Carrying out the project will have an impact on all members of the group, since it will affect their perception of teaching Creative Writing, but it will also be a factor of influence to all teachers who will be subsequently trained by the consortium. In conclusion, it is expected that the results of the project will have a significant effect on students of the teachers, improving their learning achievements.
