Context: The project staff teaching mobility stems from the needs of our school and its European plan of development. This project is designed for English language teachers. These teachers need a vital contact with English language and with culture of English speaking countries as well. They will also welcome an enrichment and deep view in issue of innovative teaching methodologies which are used in other countries of EU. English language teachers need to have a personal experience with culture of English speaking countries so that they can convey this experience in educational process. To we can fulfil the needs mentioned above we would like to use this teaching mobility for English language teachers for attending teaching development course in UK. Objectives of this project: The aim of this project is to increase the methodological competences of participants. Competences, which will be obtained through the attendance of the English teaching development course, will enriched teachers in matters of new interactive methods of educational process and the competences will display new ways and methods how to better equip pupils so that they can be able to express their thoughts and solve problems in foreign language. Other aim of this project is to find new contacts to we can be able to establish international cooperation. Numbers and profile of participants: Participants are young qualified teachers (university graduates who passed state English examinations or who are holders of international certificate). Participants have been teaching for 4 – 10 years. They are teaching mostly English at the fist and second stage of elementary school and couple of lessons of these subjects: Civics, Music, Arts, Ethics, Drama, Healthy lifestyle). There are 5 teachers who are interested in taking part in the staff mobility project (see the enclosed attachment). Descriptions of activities: Interested participants will attend one course, in one term according to their common agreement. The course will be organized by organization which is involved in the project Erasmus plus (e.g.: http://www.bellenglish.com). Participants will ask a partner organization for general information (a course schedule, a term, fee, possibility of accommodation, the best transport connection, safety and cultural information) and according to given information participants will together choose the course. The aim of chosen course will be focused on deepening methodological competences of English language teachers. Methodology to be used in carrying out the project: The project will be carry out by coordinators of this project (authors of this projects), who were given this responsibility by the school leadership. Coordinators will give an option of staff mobility, they will carry out a selection of suitable candidates according the given criteria, they will lead the choice of methodological course. Pertinence of the course will be qualified by a course schedule, specific seminars which will be offered and by envisaged course's outcomes. Coordinators will be in charge of all administration which is connected to the course. They are communicating with a leadership of participating and partner organisation during the mobility. Coordinators are monitoring the process of mobility during the course and after the arrival they are responsible for evaluation of project and dissemination of the results. Short description of the envisaged results: Participants will receive self-assurance in a right usage of English language, they will obtain profound knowledge of English language and cultural background of English speaking countries. Increased level of language competences and taking part in mobility will be a great opportunity for a personal and professional growth of participants. The vital part of this section will be the dissemination of results within our school and also outside our organisation. Short description of the envisaged impacts: Participants will deepen their methodological competences due to the taking part on this mobility. They will obtain self-assurance in usage of English language and thanks to it they will be able to include CLIL classroom activities and articles better to other subjects as well. Participants will upgrade the professionalization of school teaching staff, improve the quality of Content and Language Integrated Learning and they will be a valuable asset for the school's image and its competitiveness. Potential longer term benefits: A benefit will be a practical and successful usage of CLIL at our schools also in continuing years, sufficient number of English language teacher with profound knowledge of English, teachers will obtain new ideas how to successfully prepare students for international exams. We are also expecting a real possibility of establishing an international partnerships with other foreign educational institutions.
