The sending organization is the Vocational secondary school in Vyškov, which has been cooperating with the host organization named the Regional vocational school located in Austrian town Zistersdorf for more than 10 years. Austrian school, which has a provincial competence for the area of Lower Austria, prepares its pupils for the work in the plumber branch of all specializations. The project is prepared for the Czech pupils of the same branch. The goal of this project is to acquire the new knowledge in the plumber branch, and therefore to gain also the higher level of the skills and abilities, which they can use after finishing their studies at the job market. In the course of the educational stay the pupils get to know especially with title of the Unit within ECVET - function of the heat pump in the system and Polyfusion welding, Solar Panels, further such activities as different welding and soldering techniques, pipe crossing, flame burning of the holes, making plugs, warm and cold techniques of pipe bending, pressing of the plastic-aluminium parts, connection of the electric appliances for the plumber purposes, connection of the fotovoltaic solar panels and airconditioning installations, adjusting of the thermal pumps and thermosolar devices. The educational stay includes excursions to the surroundings of the stay, which are intended on the ecological sources of the energy and sofisticated ways of heating. The project is carried out in the form of a two week stay of the Czech pupils at the partnership Austrian school including catering and accommodation at the school hostel, which is the part of the school facilities. The pupils will be accompanied by a German teacher from the Czech school, who is also responsible for supervision of the pupils. The main aim and outcome of the stay is the awarness of the job opportunities of the plumber work in the foreign countries. After finishing the educational stay there is also the positive change of the pupils´ approach towards the whole educational process. The broad public will be informed about the conclusions and outcomes of the project, e.g.: Guild of Plumbers, Industry Chamber and Job Office. The main profit of the stay will be the higher level of the pupils´preparation. This „enhanced utility value“ will have a positive impact on the demand for our pupils at the job market. In this year we have noticed that the higher amount of our pupils has started to work for the regional companies, where they had already proved their abilities during the practice there, and surely the educational stay had also significantly changed their approach towards the work responsibilities. The project will be promoted during the school events such as Open Day, Recruitment of the pupils at the primary schools, the Trade-fair of the job opportunities, Machinery Trade-fair and Skills Competitions of the pupils from the apprentice classes. The promotion of the project is also carried out through the school websides.
