The main aim of the Project called ‘Foreign Apprenticeship for Logistics Aimed for a Success’ is to gain new knowledge and practical professional experience in a foreign country by the students of Mechanical and Logistics School in Slupsk, specialization GSCE in logistics. The project will be coordinated by the School in partnership with a German company at Vitalis GmbH training center facility in Germany.The execution of the Project is foreseen from 1st September 2016 to 31st August 2017. During the winter break from 15th January 2017 to 29th January 2017 the group of 32 students and 3 teachers are going to Germany. During the internship the students will have a chance to get familiar with the specifity of the profession as well as they will get an opportunity to perform practical tasks at German vocational training center along with workshops at certain German companies.Practical participation in the international project will certainly contribute to raising the professional knowledge in logistics. Moreover, it will be an opportunity to get new skills in a specified field. It will be also an excellent opportunity to gain more experience giving participants the advantage on the job market. The participants will acquire the particular practical skills necessary to become a logistics and they will be able to use the latest technologies and work organizations techniques in the field of European work organization. Participation in similar projects by the School of Mechanical and Logistics in Slupsk will raise the importance and quality of training offered in the local market, being currently threatened by high unemployment. Our School will gain foreign cooperation and contacts, allowing to combine domestic and foreign traineeship in the aim of raising knowledge and professional abilities in the future. Students will be professionally prepared to succeed in their educational and career paths. It will enable them to start their own businesses. They will easily adjust to the requirements of the domestic and foreign employers. The most important thing for the future employers are graduates with practical skills and fluency in German.To sum up, our students will gain much technical knowledge and practical work experience abroad.
