The main objective of the project called "Foreign practice impetus to the development of qualifications" is to gain new knowledge and practical experience abroad by students of the Mechanical and Logistics School in Słupsk in the field of mechatronic. Partner of the project will be a German company of a practical training center Vitalis GmbH in Germany. Implementation of the project is predicted for the period from 01 September 2015 to 1 September 2016. At that time, the project in its assumptions, plans to organize 2-week foreign practical training /internship for 15 students of the previously mentioned specialties mechatronics. Foreign internship will be held for 15 students of the School of Mechanical and Logistics in Słupsk from the third class specializing in mechatronics. Participants will be accompanied by a guardian - teacher of apprenticeship from the school. Foreign internship will be held from 25 October 2015 to 7 November 2015. During scheduled foreign internship, students will be given a possibility to familiar with the specifics of the profession in conjunction with the ability to perform practical tasks in the German vocational training center and working within German workshops and workplaces . Participation in international practice, will contribute to the increase of professional knowledge in the field of the specialty by the students selected to go. In addition, it will be a great opportunity to gain new experience giving participants the advantage of the project on the local labor market over other graduates of vocational similar schools because of the lessons learned. The project participants will acquire specific practical skills necessary to practice as mechatronics technician and gain experience in the field of European organization of work and knowledge of the latest technologies used for the given specialty. The young participants of the project, with this knowledge and having a comprehensive professional preparation, will have bigger chance to be able to adapt the needs of the national or local employer. A very important benefit of the project will be also that the participants will gain comprehensive linguistic competence and skills and that they will have possibility to use and practice German language in the context of professional issues. In this case potential future employer will gain thoroughly prepared graduate as mechatronics technician. Implementation of the project by the School of Mechanical and Logistics in Słupsk raises the profile and quality of training offered in the local market at risk of high unemployment. In addition, the sending institution, through the implementation of the project, will gain long-term foreign contacts, enabling to organize national and international practices school students and thanks to it to prepare them better to work in their profession. They will also have better chance to find a job in a big company or establishment. Thank to stronger comprehensive background the students will be better prepared for possible starting and running your own business in their profession.
