The main activity of the project will be the 8-days Job Shadowing activity in Ireland, where have already been identified the organizations and the centers to visit and have meetings with. The meeting during the Regional Seminar on Youth Information and Counseling organized by COE gave the opportunity to the partner representatives to discuss different youth work realities and came up with the idea of job shadowing aimed promoting the exchange of experience and expertise on youth policy. The objectives of the project are;- sharing expertise and knowledge in youth policy field and youth work realities in Ireland and in Armenia and what can be brought down for local adoption;- developing strategies and projects aimed at assisting youth policy development and implementation on local level; - introducing best practices to each other in the areas of youth policy - mechanism, participation, promotion of youth work, etc;- Creating a platform to elaborate areas of partnership and come up with joint initiatives.The project aims also at enhancing the cultural knowledge among the youth of the two countries. The project objectives directly contribute to those of the Erasmus + Programme as the project contributes to developing the quality of support systems for youth activities and the capabilities of civil society organizations in the youth field. Erasmus+ supports transnational partnerships among Youth institutions and organizations to foster cooperation and bridge the worlds of education and work in order to tackle the skills gaps we are facing in Europe and our project is a sample of transnational partnership between programme and partner countries, the aim of which is to have a more lasting impact especially taking into account that the project will not be a single-time activity of ? days as such: it will be a base for solid cooperation and implementation of more efficient strategies. The project aims at providing ground for sharing on-site expertise between YIC Armenia and Youth Work Ireland. The project will take place in Dublin, Ireland for the period of June 18th to June 25th, 2016.
