Project of international youth exchange Youth wonderland is organized with the support of Erasmus+ program and includes programme countires: Slovenia (Društvo širjenja uporabnih znanj), Croatia (Nezavisno udrugo mladih), France (Itineraire international Paca) in Turkey (Istanbul Arel Universitesi). The project starts on 1. 6. 2015 and ends on 1. 7. 2016 (13 mesecev). Proposal of the projects theme was given by Slovenian and Croatian team of young people as they believe that we do not include ourselves into the open discussion about important topics in youth field. Furthermore we do not know how the country works, how the EU system works. The included two partner organizations which joined the project last summer, agree with that thesis. The project result will be new ficitve country established by young participants who will think about law, public services, financing, safety, being included in EU or not. That way we will get more information on those topics and will know better how EU and countries systems work. Supported by that, we will also feel more responsible to participating while decisions are made and we will contribute our part into quality if well-being in Europe. Each country will have 6 participants, 5 young people and 1 youth leader. There will be also 9 young people with fewer opportunites, that have health issues (deaf youngster, young person will autism in Slovenian group), economic and social weak background, cultural differences (French group), low leve of education. We will meet on APV in October 2015 (7.-8.10.2015) in Krško, Slovenia. Eight persons (4 grup leaders and 4 youngsters) will meet each other, check the infrastructure, will make a final schedule, divide activities that should be prepared for the exchange, choose methods. Main goals of the project are active participation of young people, sharing knowledge and experience amongst youth organization, their volunteers, supporting young youth leaders. The main goal is also to raise the European awareness, knowledge about how EU works, what its institutes do, t spread feeling that we belong to the same community. The participants will gain informal knowledge and a life time experience. All groups and its members will meet in Krško on 22. 2. 2016 and will work together until 29. 2. 2016. The main activities are informal learning (making learning path, personal growth of each individual, gaining and using Youthpass, Europass, creative use of computers, communicating in foreign language,…), knowing the process of democracy, work of EU institutions, how country works, how EU works, program Erasmus+, sharing good practice in youth field amongst partners, intercultural learning, achieving hoigher level of understanding amongst young people in Europe. Young people will work for each other. They will prepare and organize activities with the support of the youth leaders. While staying in Krško they will establish their own country and make a promo short movie of it. The movie will be presented to pupils and students, youth organizations, decision makers, media,… The movie will be for a public use on Youtube, Facebook, partner web sites,... even after the project. All partners will promote the project and Erasmus+ programe in their media. The used methods in the project will be participatory kind, will include young people, will be interesting, learning by doing, team effort, exchanging knowledge,… We will also use some inovative methods as snow ball,… The project impact will be on the young participants, partner organizations, local NGO-s, media, all local communities. We believe that all of them will be more aware about the considered topics of the project and will become better individuals, neighbours, friends, teachers,… in the future. Young participants will gain their Youthpass during the project.
