The project is a long term EVS that will be held in Pesaro, Italy, from August 2014 till May 2015 and it aims to promote the active citizenship and the European awareness of the EVS volunteer and young volunteer who will work with through peer to peer approach. This project aims to provide a useful and active experience to our volunteer by giving her the opportunities to develop project ideas turning it into action and to develop entrepreneurship skills, self-confidence and independency. Volunteer will be involved, and she will contribute with an active role, in several activities: in festivals and events where the association will have space to implement and to develop workshops and activities for youngsters, in coaching activities held by our youth workers getting in contact with the group of youngsters and helping them in their research, presentations and debates and, of course, in turning their ideas into action, in the cultural centre activities of the association getting in touch with the volunteers and supporting the active participation of the whole group. Through the work of the volunteer we aim to integrate her into the spreading of mutual understanding of interculturalism and developing the European citizenship awareness of the youngster and volunteer herself. In order to reach this goal, the volunteer will contribute with her own culture, experience and personal willingness. Finally, by taking part in this project, the volunteer will interact with the local community and she will get in touch with our community's culture and way of life. By working together in the foreseen activities she will learn how to work in international context at international team.
