Youth participation as a way of change
Date du début: 1 mai 2013,

There is much to be learned when it comes to what possibilities and obstacles young people have in being active, participating citizens in their societies. Every country in the broader Europe has had different historical and political paths that have led them to their own peculiar understanding of what society is and how people can act within it. This training course taking place in Vadul lui Voda in the Republic of Moldova from the 14th to the 20th of July 2013 will further explore these differences and similarities of different societies in Europe when four EU partners from Denmark, Germany, Latvia and Romania will meet with their four neighbouring EECA partners from Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Moldova to discuss, reflect and understand what tools and resources youth leaders/workers and NGOs have in different contexts and societies within the broader Europe as well as what obstacles and possibilities different societies in Europe have when it comes to active citizenship for a young person. The training course will explore what it means to be an active European citizen in 2013 through a diverse range of instruments within the frame of non formal learning. Fx the training course will explore the instrument of structured dialogue more in detail. The young people are the future of Europe. Therefore it is also important that we understand much better how to make them involved and participate in their own future and the future of Europe.
