Youth Long Term Policy

Main focus of the study visit is involving technology training and job opportunities, coupled with academic support and formation. Project is called A long term Youth Policy because the main priority of this project would be providing safe, respectful, and celebratory atmosphere with structured learning where students and people with fewer opportunities can and do succeed. A long term Youth Policy is a study visit where participants will go in different organizations in Macedonia and get an idea how non formal education is functioning and what are the best practices, how to improve their way of studying. The main goal of this project is to explore the concept of non formal education, gain better understanding about Youth people and their policy, exchange experiences where students will be given the opportunity to talk about training goals and share how they have been able to attain success. , best practices and tools that can be used to improve and stimulate non formal education for students as well as academic societies and empowers students to reach not only academic goals, but life goals. During 7 days 24 youth workers from Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Romania will visit several Macedonia towns, organizations and political parties working with groups of students and young people with fewer opportunities - and have discussions with experts. Visits and case studies will be combined with partnership building and intercultural learning activities, and sessions about Youth in Action as a tool for combating social exclusion.
