Date du début: 1 sept. 2015, Date de fin: 31 août 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Momentum World wishes to co-ordinate and host a year long EVS placement for 4 volunteers to work at a busy social enterprise in the vibrant towns of Ormskirk and Skelmersdale in the West Lancashire region of England. This will provide an opportunity for those young people to learn new skills highly relevant to future working life. Volunteer placements are offered in IT, web design, PR, Marketing, Customer Service and Event Management. Reliable partners from Austria, Greece, Poland and Spain (Tenerife) have been identified. The objectives of the project are: -To offer an opportunity for relevant work experience to build volunteers cv's and enhance future employability - To improve competences in IT skills, Entrepreneurship and Business Skills and Event Management as a pathway to future employment - To improve language skills - To give an opportunity to take leadership positions - To enhance intercultural awareness The issues and needs we seek to address are the biggest ones of all in our society i.e. crippling youth unemployment throughout Europe. Young people need hope, they need help and they need opportunities like this . We would look to place 4 volunteers for the duration of the project. Activities planned are; 1. On arrival training 2. Social Enterprise induction training 3. Job specific training in IT skills, Marketing, Enterprise Planning and Event Management 4. Assisting in delivering programmes involving team work, music, drama, use of technology, audio visual production and other wider ranging activities 5. Gradual increase in responsibility through experience to take on more management roles. 6. Mid term evaluation 7. Assistance with administration 8. Intercultural and social occasions 9. Regular interface with the public 10. Regular mentoring and support meetings including youthpass 11. Final evaluation and Youthpass session The impact on volunteers, partner organisations and the wider community is expected to be very significant. For volunteers, the experience gained will prove a major boost to cv's and longer term job prospects as well as encouraging social enterprise and individual dynamism. For partner organisations, it is a new route in to the rare world of EVS volunteer opportunities in the UK. In a wider sense there will be an impact on showing the benefits of EU co-operation and the Erasmus + programme
