We are convinced that ideas, experience and knowledge of young people are crucial part of development of each society. Only permanent education and sharing information, along with positive personal attitudes and active approach can result in creating stable synergy of all relevant factors within society and lead to social change. In order to build modern european society it is important to encourage young people to be more active locally and globally and take responsibility for issues that concern youth and may influence their daily life in the future. Our project "Youth for Europe" has become an opportunity for young people from EU countries to meet, discuss similarities and differences of situation in their countries, share good practices and knowledge in order to become more active and be able to promote social activeness, active participation in democratic processes in their local communities, at the same time empowering their development and starting local activities based on the results of their participation in the project. Participation has given young people significant knowledge about project development and management and partnership development on international level based on the project results. Project was based on open space methodology giving youngsters chance to create their own activities, finding answers for their questions, which will be crucial for their own development, increasing creativity and entrepreneurship. The project took place in Poronin, Poland.45 people from 5 countries: Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy and Slovenia, participated in mobility, apart from 1 person, all of them aged 18-30.
