Youth for change

Presented project "Youth for change" was prepared for twelve volunteers and will be implemented by nine organisations: Stowarzyszenie "Jeden Świat" (Poland) acting as coordinating, hosting and sending organisation, Centre for Assistance and Protection for Victims and Potential Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings (CAP) (Moldova), Association "Merkuri" (Georgia), Karelian regional non-profit organization of additional education "Centre "Initiative" (Russia), Beit Hagefen Arab Jewish Culture (Israel) and Asociación Building Bridges (Spain) acting as receiving organisations and All-Ukrainian association for youth cooperation “Alternative-V” and IVO-SVIT (Ukraine) and Human Supporters Association (Palestine) acting as sending organisations. Activities planned will take place during sixteen months of the project, between August 2014 and December 2015. Polish volunteers will go to Moldova, Georgia, Russia and Israel to support the receiving organisations, which are dealing with promotion of sustainable development, helping victims of domestic violence, offering support to children and youth with fewer opportunities from Karelian region and enabling dialogue between youth from Isreal and Palestine, as well as, promotion of art and culture among youth. Three volunteers will come to Poland to support work done by Stowarzyszenie "Jeden Świat" in the areas connected to promotion of Human and minority rights and global education. Activities will contribute to development of youth policies, and will equip the participants with new competences, which will help them to find themselves better on the labour market and, through this, contribute to fight against youth unemployment in Europe. Project will also have a positive impact on volunteers and beneficiaries as it will contribute to building stronger, united and respecftul Europe, as well as, encourage the benficiaries to take advantage of the innovative working methods and self-development such voluntary service or usage non-formal education.
