This seminar aims to build the capacity of NGOs to develop their activities in the field of involving young people in activities related to sustainable use of forests and natural resources, and the conservation of the unique biodiversity of European forests. Sustainable and responsible use of natural resources and citizen´s involvement in this process is an important part of active citizenship for sustainable development of Europe. There will be a specific focus on sharing experience between the Nordic countries and the bordering region of NW Russia to allow for cross-border management of EVS exchange between East and West and using EVS as a tool to build youth involvement and NGO capacity in forest conservation activities.
