The main aim of the project "Young, active citizens without borders" is to organize bilateral youth exchange as working meeting for discussing different ways on engagement youngsters, particularly from rural area to solving the local community problems through participation in PA activity. The promoters of this project are All-Ukrainian NGO "Our Children" (Ukraine, Odessa region), as hosting orgnisation, and Educational Society for Malopolska (Poland, Novij Sanc), as sending organisation. Both organisations implement PA-program, and provide training support for youth groups and theirs mentors.During joint activity, youngsters from 2 countries will discuss about using social networks and social media in youth work and developed the information materials for its further spreading in Internet aimed to engage youth to the PA-activity, popularize theirs work and learn about experience each other. They can learn about on-line platform Dobrochyn (dobrochyn.org), which has special part for registration school projects (http://cilab.info) and which are using youngsters from Odessa and Vinnica region since 2010. In the process of discussion and confront the better ways for using this services, participants will learn about best practices and experiences , about culture and specifics each other's countries and local communities. During activity of the project the workshops, role-playing, brainstorming, small pilot projects (and fundraising campaign) will be initiated and implemented by all participants. Duration of youth exchange is 7 days in the period from 22 October 2013 to 28 October 2013, total duration of project is 4 months (02.09.2013-27.12.2013). In this activity will take part 24 youngsters: 12 from Ukraine and 12 from Poland. The mostly of participants (60%) will be from rural areas. The venue of meeting is Odessa, Ukraine, the centre of Odessa's region (oblast).
