Young Europeans Love Languages 2
Date du début: 1 nov. 2012,

“YELL 2” aims at disseminating and mainstreaming the pedagogical structures of existing ‘know-how’ and ‘experiences’ in language learning in Europe to new users. It aims to respond to the need of providing attractive and interesting language teaching & learning methods and environments via a variety of creative contexts, such as cultural, social, sport activities etc. “YELL 2” builds on the experience of the European Language Label award winning "YELL network” (www.yell-project.eu) which has emerged as a unique network in Europe. The work of the Network focused on collecting excellent examples of attractive, joyful and innovative language learning initiatives and activities and putting them into practice in order to inspire more people to learn foreign languages as well as provide teachers with an array of ready-made resources and teaching tools. Within the concept of lifelong language learning, it is important to stress that non-formal learning environments play a crucial role and, therefore, it is important to support learners in developing strategies for language learning and provide them with tools and creative ways of coping with independent language learning. “YELL 2" main outputs: * An expanded network of partners in countries beyond the current YELL network – collection of best practices from existing initiatives and projects all over Europe. * A conference related to the best practices in language learning at European level to reach new end users & policy makers.* A workshop of excellence in each partner country to disseminate and multiply existing results in order to integrate this into policy.* 2 newsletters about the project.* A monthly e- bulletin spread among new and existing members of the network. The e-bulletin will include new information about language learning, activities and one example of good practice of the month “Excellence of the month”.* An in-service training course “development and introduction on new ways in language teaching and learning”.
