YOU(th) ACT 4 Inclusion!

“YOU(th) Act 4 Inclusion” is an EVS project of 10 months (1 February 2013 and ending in 30 November 2013) that will be implemented by Beyond Barriers Association in Tirana, Albania. The project will involve the participation of 4 volunteers from Germany and Italy, to be sent by our partner associations EIF and TDM2000. The main aim of this project is to promote inclusion of youngsters with fewer opportunities, with special focus on those with disabilities. Also in a wider sense it aims at contributing to the development of youth participation, exchange of information and especially inclusion growth through offering possibilities of participation for youngsters with fewer opportunities. Objectives - Raising awareness towards inclusion of youngsters with fewer opportunities, with special focus on disability- Promote volunteering as an added value of the under development societies such is Albania. - Improving quality of information exchange through peer education, outdoor activities & the use of social media networks. - Promote YiA programme & its priorities among Albanian youngster - Foster basis on promotion of non formal education approach & intercultural learning- Share best practices among local & international volunteersActivities:1. Assisting and social animating for children with learning difficulties 2. Supporting the continuation of the Local Volunteer Centre of Tirana3. Promoting Local Volunteering among youngsters of High Schools in Albania, through EVS experience 4. Preparing & issuing the Newsletter of the association & updating the websitesThe project touches priorities such are: Inclusion of Youngsters with Fewer Opportunities, Participation of young people, fighting against poverty and marginalization & Sport to promote healthy lifestyles, social inclusion and active participation. NFE , ICL, and learning by doing approaches will ensure an intercultural dimension to the project and the self development of the volunteers.
