"You in Europe... You in the World" is a longterm EVS project planed to happen between June 2016 and August 2017 that will involve 2 Portuguese volunteers from Terceira Island and 2 young volunteers from Spain from Gran Canaria Island and from Valencia. During "You in Europe... You in the World" the main activities planned will be:- APV in Terceira Island in June 2016- To host 2 Spanish Volunteers, one from an Gran Canaria, other from the main land in Spain. (10.2016 to 07.2017)- To send to 2 Portuguese volunteers from Terceira Island: one to another Island and other to the main land in Spain. ( 01.2017 to 07.2017)The objective is to empower young people facing different difficulties in their country – social, geographical, economic and educational difficulties. Volunteers will be helping with the work in office, helping with the tasks regarding the multimedia, promotion and public relations, office maintenance, preparation and writing of the projects for children and youth. During the implementation of the projects for youth, they will be included as a part of the organizing team, taking some responsibility for the practical aspects of project management, evaluation and monitoring, as well as for presenting the projects through media and social networks, finding creative ideas to promote projects and disseminate results and visibility of the organizations work, Erasmus + programme and EVS.Volunteers will help on AJITER educational outdoor programs in nature, working closely with other young people with different social, cultural and personal backgrounds.They will be integrated in the local community, socializing, participating different activities and events, learn and practice new languages. Volunteers will develop and improve a range of skills and competences during their EVS experience – digital, social and civic, foreign languages and intercultural learning and also their cultural awareness will develop and their attitudes toward healthy lifestyles and outdoor activities will develop.On the arrival back home in their country volunteers will use their EVS experience in their future youthwork, career and personal life.
