The partnership Building Activity “You-Enter'preneurship” was implemented in order to encourage youth organizations to promote and educate young people in entrepreneurship and social enterprise field. As the past few years have been challenging for the global economy, instability has been high, economic growth has stagnated the employment opportunities for youth in particular have suffered. Accordingly to International Labour Organization for 2014- 66 million young people are unemployed and an even higher number are underemployed. Overall, the unemployment rate for young people is two to three times higher than for adults. Having reduced youth unemployment to half by 2015 is one of the goals that Heads of State of all member countries of the United Nations adopted in the Millennium Declaration. Youth employment is part of EU employment policy, within the wider context of the Europe 2020 growth and jobs strategy. In order to promote youth employment and entrepreneurship, the EU and its member countries are acting to encourage entrepreneurship in young people. The run activities answered nowadays global needs as entry of youth in the labor market and creation of independence by initiating own entrepreneurial ventures. The project linked to Erasmus + programme objectives and reflected the goals of Europe 2020 strategy and EU Youth Strategy. The set project objectives: - to provide concrete information about the entrepreneurship development (concept, business plan, resources, risk etc.) - to encourage youth organizations to promote entrepreneurship education and culture - to promote the economic and social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities - to develop promotional tools and follow up activities in regard to entrepreneurship awareness - to foster cooperation among programme and neighbouring countries, with a focus on rural entrepreneurship - to introduce Erasmus + programme and develop follow up projects. The Partnership Building Activity was implemented between 18-25 November, 2015 in Loughborough, UK. It involved 30 participants coming from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Georgia, Italy, Latvia, Moldova, Romania, United Kingdom and Ukraine. Project participants were young people representing their organizations and motivated to develop their competences as multipliers in fiend of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship education. The project was based on the principles of non-formal learning, implying participative, voluntary-based, learner-centred, holistic approach. The main working methods were: individual and group work, power point and video presentations, group and plenary discussions, simulation activities, case studies, field visits and meeting with local experts and entrepreneurs. In order to achieve the set objectives the agenda consisted from the following sessions: - Getting to know each other, coming to introduce the team and break the ice; - Introduction into the project and agenda, coming to explore the project background and context, the reflected participants’ needs and the community they represent, the situation of their country in terms of youth unemployment etc - Team building, coming to foster group dynamic and introduce the Non formal education and learning concept. - Youth pass key competences, introducing the learning path and assessment of own learning achievements. - Erasmus + programme presentation, exploring its objectives and the opportunities offered for young people. - Introduction into the topic, understanding the differences between business, entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. - How do I start introducing the steps needed for a Start-up. - Casino activity, introducing the entrepreneurial mindset. - NGO fair, sharing and making first contacts for future cooperation. - Entrepreneur competences – discovering competences of a successful entrepreneur and those which each participant need to develop. - My first Start- up, simulation activity coming to put in practice the steps and competences needed for an entrepreneurial activity. - Project development aiming to introduce the way a youth project can be developed. - Erasmus + application form, aiming to share the needed steps for a Youth Mobility project. - Meeting with local entrepreneurs, learning and sharing from successful stories. - Project development sessions, gave the opportunity to develop follow up projects and initiatives - Youthpass ceremony and evaluation. The implemented project contributed to increase participants’ competences in the entrepreneurship domain with an emphasis on social and youth entrepreneurship. They learned what makes an enterprise a successful one and how youth entrepreneurship can contribute to reduce global poverty. The national and European impact is to be reached by follow up projects within the Erasmus + programme.
