Youth centre Velenje is organization that can provide a variety of options on the field of youth work and mobility of young people. Volunteers can work in the afternoon center, where they can prepare different workshops and can help by creating the yearly plan. They can also work on our dislocated unit Regional Multimedia center Kunigunda, where multimedia equipment is available for the purpose of pursuing filming, editing and designing. We wish that the volunteers profile and also their interest will meet with our expectations towards open, self initiative and motivated young people. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn in the non formal way on different learning fields, but always through active participation with the support of the coordinator and mentor. In Youth centre Velenje, we will host two volunteers from Italy and Spain. They will stay in Velenje for a long term activity, that will have aims like promoting intercultural dialogue, implementing volunteers in the local level, encouraging the mutual understanding of young people from different countries and active participation. They will stay with us for one whole year. Expected results of the project and lasting long-term effects will be already visible during the activity. We will take care of the promotion of the project through local media (radio, tv, web pages). We will also have presentations of volunteers countries and the mobility of youth in the High school centre Velenje. In that way we will also contribute to the insemination of the results in the formal field of education. All that will also have long-term effects on the project. The results will be visible also after the volunteers will left. The results will affect the knowledge and the competences as entering to the field of employment, non-formal education and larger mobility of the young people. The affect will also be seen on the field of creativity, organization, computer literacy, making audio and video product and working in the youth field.
