In the last quarter of the twentieth century, the rapid advances in information and communication technologies started a multidimensional change-transformation process in economic, social and political context; created the consciousness that the computer use in all areas of our daily lives is the requirement of the era in all segments of our society. The "information society" and "e-commerce" has gained strategic importance in economic development, social welfare and providing competitive advantage. This project, in parallel to the developments of Turkey in the world, aims to realize the target of transformation to the information society, spread the information and communication technologies to all sectors of society and to increase the economic and social benefits through the effective use of information and communication technology. To achieve these objectives, Zonguldak - Eregli Public Education Center,Ebil Education limited company, Zonguldak İŞKUR and Ereğli Municipal (public and private) institutions have come together. In the scope of the project, 18 people will perform mobility abroad. The participants in the project were elected from individuals who offer adult education, have graduate and postgraduate education in the field of adult education in Ereğli Public Education Center and contribute to the development and sustainability of local handicrafts in the region. This group of people has been created from the individuals who provide adult education in their own institutions, is experienced in this area, open to innovation, tend to use technological tools and has contributed to improve the quality of adult education. The development of human resources in Public Training Centres, increasing professional knowledge and skills of educators who work in these centers, giving the greater emphasis on information technology and advanced technology training of entrepreneurs in marketing and carrying out the income-generating activities is needed. Therefore, there is need to increase the skills and qualifications of the educators in order to improve the capacity of training institutions which gives education about local handicrafts. The e-commerce course of Local Handicrafts will provide contribution to the participants in order to acquire the competencies such as knowledge, skills and attitudes; improving their foreign language skills; ability to examine the vocational dimension of EU standards; professional development; the development of the sense of European citizenship; the exercise of non-formal education materials, curricula and effective teaching methods; exploration of different cultures; the development of technology and communication skills; recognizing the socio-cultural changes in the EU countries, etc... As a result, it will be acquired to compete the public education centers and institutions offering non-formal education in the education sector, to be the center of attraction, to be able to do the dissemination and sustainability of the project by adding the experience and knowledge of the project partner institutions to the existing competencies
