Sandıklı Volunteer Housewives Association is the owner of the application and Associazione di Promozione Sociale Futuro Digitale Association in Italy and Centre Medical Zavelput ASBL Association in Belgium are the project partners. The duration of the project has been pre-determined as 6 month and the project activities will take place between 01 August 2015 and 01 February 2016. Seven young participants along with one group leader and ten young local participants together with one local group leader will attend the project meeting in Sandıklı, Afyonkarahisar on 09-14 November 2015 from each of the partner associations. The mentioned meeting will be accomplished with 24 young participant and three group leaders. Gender equality will be given priority when the participant profiles will be determined. The participants from our association will be the young people at the ages of 15 to 30 and the population will consist of students, graduates that are looking for employment and graduates that work. The three participants from our association will the young people that have physically limited opportunities for employment. The agenda of the meeting that will take place in Sandıklı, Afyonkarahisar, Turkey can be stated as follows: briefs on the history of Sandıklı history, visits to cultural sites, giving information about the arts that are to become extinct such as wooden painting, making dolls out of tragacanth and glass arts, seminars on cultural exchanges, folk dances and theatre displays, and entertainment for the young people in order to enhance the opportunities for intercultural communication. The program content is quite rich and all the facilities in the province will be made use of to make the best cultural exchanges. The method of the project includes meetings, seminars, presentations, workshops and open air activities. The objectives of the project can be stated as follows: gathering the young people from different races, religions and cultures for a common purpose, socialize in different cultural aspects, enhancing the visions and horizons of young people, breaking the prejudices against different cultures, improving mutual understanding among different cultures, and creating opportunities your young people to improve their communication skills in English language. The expectations out of the project are in parallel with the objectives. Furthermore, three physically disable young individual will also socialize young people. Our association will obtain European vision and improve itself in capacity and functionality. We will also gain experience to organize more international events similar to the current one. The project will also create for our Sandıklı province to make itself known at international levels and the arts that are about to become extinct will be transferred to other cultures and our province will fortunately host more tourists from European countries.
