Our aim is to make aprentices and journeymen stduying ao vocational educational centers gain essential qualifications in order to overcome the difficulties that they come accross during the training and to work more productive. Our participants and journeymen who study at food and beverage department and going training to the enterprises (patisseries etc..).Aprenticeship education is a kind of education given to the youth who finished primary school and wish to acquire a prpfession by working at an enterprise. The objective of this education is to make the youth competent by bringing in theoretical and practical knowledge in the system integrity.The education of journeymen is a kind of education which is conducted fort he ones who gained the journeyman’s competence. The aim of this education is to develop the journeymen from the profession point of view and maket hem reach at mastership competence. This training is organized as a course. Journeymen go on working at the enterprises during this three-year education.Because of changing conditions of market and rivalry in today’s conditions, food and beverage sector is in dynamic progress. The importance of gastronomy sector from the social and economical point of view is increasing in a considerable amount everyday. Especially preparation and presentation of food and beverages need attention and effort. So it, developing rapidly, becamean important employmenr area in Turkey and the World. As all over the world there are many enterprises in food and beverage sector. So as to keep pace with increasing competition conditions, they need qualified employees who will provide world class service. Our participants don’t have enough knowledge and experience about world cuisine. They usually go training to the small enterprises and for that reason they don’t have qualifications to work at conglomerates such as big hotels. Our participants’ present trainings won’t be sufficient in future’s labor market. With this Project our participants will be trained on modern pastry and especially importance of chocolate in pastry sector. Participants taking education on pastry and diffrent designs of pastry will be trained with practical chocolate usage.Our Project was prepared to train labor force that food and beverage sector need by fulfilling the lack of vocational education on modern pastry. This Project aims to make our participants more creative on chocolate design on pastry. So they will be given special education including speacial and various usage of chocolate on modern pasrty design and improtance of chocolate on pastry.The other objectives of Project are as follows:• To render our participants who are trained in small enterprises work at conglomerates by opening up their horizons.• To render our participants join in the business life by gaining Professional competence• To make contribution in foreign langauge learning or improving.• To make contribution in self confidence of our participants by gaining them overseas experience • To raise awareness by providing our participants know EU countries• To improve communication skills with different cultures.The most importnat reason to choose Our host partner Boca Suja- FatorAbstrato Lda is that they are very well experienced on special pastry production and usage and presentation of chocolate on pastry. The enterprise that our participants will go also provide service on pastry business to the hotels in Braga. They have physical condition and expertness capacity. Our host partner is an institution that has experience on this kind of projetcs and they are competent, active and well known.39 aprentices and journeymen will join a two week training on pastry and chocolate making in three group in Portugal in this Project.
