YET Europe! explored the concept of active citizenship in an informal and free. L 'objective of the project is to collect words and concepts that are shared on the topic of active citizenship and the values ​​associated with it: the common good, ethics, active participation, civic leadership, promoting common values. The sharing of concepts related to active citizenship and active European citizenship are at the basis of the entire project and has been the main theme of the activities that have involved young participants. The two groups involved in the project have in fact been working according to a methodology informal - comparisons, processing and budgets of their own and others' experience, discussions, games, role-playing - and talked about the relationship, telling and telling, participating experiential paths of each and focusing on their own subjectivity, all to facilitate comparison and discussion on issues related to civic leadership and its social value. At the end of the project young people of Calabria and Turkish youth have strengthened their idea of active citizenship, acquired new skills and a new vision of Europe as maturing capabilities suitable for transfer in the communities of origin and the sense of civic responsibility. New knowledge have allowed and allow to develop in young participants also transversal themes and concepts to active citizenship which the processes of change, democracy and the environment, rights, cooperation and mutual respect. L 'goal, which was achieved, is to educate the youth in the promotion and implementation of actions based on the principles of responsibility, collaboration, belonging, sharing, intercultural dialogue, cultural diversity, cooperation and active communication, for establish a special channel with its territory, with the problems of the community, the local and global environment.
