We are a 16 classes school involved since 2011 in Comenius Projects in order to give a european dimension to our teaching and improve personal and professional skills . In this project titled " Yes we learn ! " the 7 participants ( 6 teachers from CP to CM2 and the headteacher ) , have for objectives : - to improve their skills in English ( to teach and communicate with european partners ) - to inspire themselves from other classes' educational practices - to improve their skills in digital and multimedia tools - to enhance their knowledge of Britain and British life To match with these objectives , we have chosen 4 Language and practical methodology courses , 2 Technology assisted language learning courses and 1 course for european primary headteachers. This new project titled " Yes we learn ! " completes and improves our actual Comenius project " Scarecrow , let it grow " in so far as the participants will be more performant in English and in the mastery of digital and multimedia tools , 2 main competences for an efficient project . These teachers will be the resource teachers in our school and will share their new knowledge with their colleagues . So we expect an improvement of linguistic performances of our pupils and of their capacity to use ICT ( creation of a multilingual dictionnary on line , writing articles in the Comenius blog , correspondences between classes in using podcasts , visioconferences , eTwinning ...) Enthousiasm and motivation are the main elements for the success of our project . In the future , besides pedagogical aspects , the improvement of participants' language and ICT skills will develop links with other european teachers .
