PROJET
TERMINÉ
"Increasing the Strategic Innovation with New Methods" project is based on the idea to increase the quality of schools through innovative methods and foreign language education. In order to establish an Erasmus+ Project Team, we have conducted a “Need Analysis Questionnaire” to the school staff, and then set up a team according to the needs of the teachers and the school itself. Our project team has made the Swot analyses of our school and identified the main objectives and aims according to the results.
Our main objectives are:
to implement innovative methods in classes, to develop students' basic skills and educational competencies,
to increase the number of teachers who are able to speak English,
to create the linguistic awareness in students, to lead institutional change and make the quality management more systematic,
to enhance group dynamics and social skills,
to provide teachers to use collaborative and student-centered learning methods in class,
to promote the use of digital portals such as e-Twinning and the ICT based methods,
to obtain the modernization and
to increase the number of qualified staff at school.
For the purpose of achieving our goals, we have decided to attend the following in service training courses addressing our organisation’s needs:
a. English for educators and administrative staff
b- Innovative approaches to teaching
c- Group Dynamics and Social Skills in the Classroom
d- New Teachers for New Competencies: Personal competencies, teamworking and time management
e- Teach, Learn and Quality
The first course will be held in A1, A2 and B1 levels in different times which is for school principal and five teachers of whom their level of English is very low. The staff attending these courses is supposed to improve their language skills in the best way. With the other trainings it is intended to improve the strategic dimension and quality of our institution by the way of innovative teaching methods. Three staff of whom their English level and communication skills are good will participate these training courses.
The mentioned courses will consist of different modules of which one is based on one competence. Activity types will be organized according to these modules such as discussions, brainstorming, theoretical information, teamwork, games, role-playing, drama, and the like. Practical ideas and activities will be carried out within these learning units based on collaborative and communicative methods, group discussions, socio-drama, active learning techniques addressing sensation, critical and creative thinking. Different teaching methods will be provided to participants, thus they will be taught the key points and clues to positive and strategic way of thinking.
During the process, all the activities will be assessed in the weekly Project meetings. The participants will share their experiences and knowledge after the mobilities. They will keep a diary and present participant reports for the further evaluation. The administrative staff will be responsible for interfiling all information, photos, materials etc., and form portfolios.
Our project will have a positive impact on both our students and teaching staff, and the organization itself as a whole. Implementation of innovative methods in classrooms will provide students and teachers a modern learning and teaching environment. Using their time effectively in classes, our teachers will be more productive and cooperative. By the help of language course, our staff will have the opportunity to teach in the similar circumstances with European schools, and will actively attend the international projects hereafter.
As the long term effects, our students will get rid of the boundaries of locality, start to think more global and understand different cultures, other people and the world itself better. Our teaching staff will assess the education system with a more critical aspect. These all will have an impact on the strategic development and the quality of educational institutions, and then will open a way to change educational policies.
