- Through this project we want to highlight human rights and values. We want to promote social progress and raise the standards to create more freedom. - This group exchange is an informal group of Norwegian youth that want to build a relationship with Egyptian youth. We want to create relationships and build bridges between these two nations. - We will do activities that highlight human rights and value. These activities will also teach the youth about the different cultures. They will be able to compare their cultures and see what is similar and what is different. - Some of the activities will be cooking food from their countries, wearing their national costumes, watching a movie on human rights and discussing it afterwards, etc. - There will be 5 girls and 5 guys from Norway and 5 girls and 5 guys from Egypt that will be a part of the youth exchange. The youth will be between 19-25 years of age. - We hope that by the end of this project the youth will go home to their cities with a greater passion to make a difference and seehuman rights be restored and for people to realize their value. We hope that they will leave feeling equipped with tools to use so they can be a part of a change. We hope that what they learn will grow and become a part of their daily life and that they can be connected with places (organizations) where they can use these tools they have gotten. - We hope this is the beginning of something great and that we can have many group exchanges all over the world.
