The population of the world is getting older. This social phenomenon which was important for Europe and Japan as of the end of 20th century emerges as an economic and social problem for almost all countries in the world except for Africa. Whole world’s attention is attracted to the phenomenon of ageing in the World Ageing Meetings which was held in Vienna in 1982 and in Madrid in 2002 by the United Nations. Various recommendation decisions relating to starting infrastructure work, joint studies between countries and regions were taken about safety and care of the old people. “Elder Care” phenomenon is a program accepted by World Health Organisation andit is an international effort which aims active and healthy ageing in societiesWhile the rate of old population (65 and older) to the total population today is 10% according to WHO, this rate is expected to be more than 16% in 2050. Old population in our country, which is 7,1% today, is expected to be more than 20% in 2050. According to TSI data, rate of old population (65 or older) to total population in Amasya province was 5,21% in 1980 and this increased to 7,9% in 2000 and to 11,4% in 2010. This rate in the city centre of Amasya is 12,44%. Considering the average of Turkey, which is 7,1%, it can be seen how important is the rate in Amasya. Increase in the old population in Amasya is faster than the average of Turkey. In addition to that, as stated in the Current Situation and Analysis Report of Yeşilırmak Basin Development Project, old dependence in all cities in the TR 83 region is higher than Turkey average. Our Project aimed to train employee over the standart of our country and Europe. It aimed with our project that training of health personnel is employed in the integration of applications for geriatrics practice of primary care services , technological and psico-social developments in EU countries. Health education in terms of sectoral and professional development will be provided to support each other wih our project Our project’s name is Our Future Is Our Old-Age. Institution, the project owner, the official status of high school offering education in the health professions. Our school has not included in a the project as the beneficiary. The beneficiary group; Nursing area pose a potential workforce for the sector is composed of basic vocational education and students. For the purposes of our project our school and students attending the local partners from the fields of Nursing of 48 students was chosen as the beneficiary. Our Project has in total of 6 partners which are in Germany and Latvia 2 host (foreign), and the 3 sending school except our school. Our project start and end dates 15/09/2014 - 15/09/2015 comprises a total of 12 months. Beneficiaries of the project activities in preparation for the overseas education of foreign language preparation, vocational preparation and training in preparation for domestic cultural preparation has three different kinds and they will join internship activities in two different countries at the same time within 3-week between 03.05.2015-23.05.2015. Our participants making techniques and practical training Technology and Techniques on Modern Geriatrics Patient Care to acquire Modern Geriatric skills in Germany and Latvia. Target groups of the project, vocational training, vocational high school graduates have taken, students with vocational education sector can create the potential for the young unemployed, employees and related sectors where the existing business owners. Our project target groups to be used in promoting the products and outcomes; observation forms, short-visual movies and photos, knowledge and experience, documents and certificates, intercultural dialogue, social and personal development, and so on. be ordered.
