Date du début: 1 août 2016, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Centrum West-D’Broej is recognized by the Flemish government as a youth centre working with vulnerable youth, between 4 and 20 years old, with different social and cultural backgrounds. All the workshops and activities are helping the youth in their participation and emancipation in the society, as they get the possibility to develop different personal, social, cultural or educational talents. 1 volunteer from Spain will work with the kids during 1 year. He will help with the daily workshops we organize like music, circus, multimedia, sports, theatre, dance etc. As he has lots of experience with music and dancing, he will particularly work most with Fanfakids and the dance-groupe. Alos in our music-studio he can get a role to make music with teenagers and youngsters. During schoolholidays he will be involved in our camps or exchange-programs with other groups of children, in Belgium or sometimes abroad (inside Europe (if he wants he can work out an ex-changeproject with his homecountry) or even in Russia or Africa...). He will be part of the group of our young local volunteers and have the possibility to work on a common project with them, or with the kids. He is welcome in other cultural partnerorganisations in the neighbourhood if she likes to get extra workshops in circus, modern dance or music to develop her own talents. He will learn how to communicate in English, Dutch and maybe French. He will learn how to work with kids and parents from different cultural, social and economical backgrounds. Discussions about racism, gender, politics, education and other topics are common in our organisation. He will be full teammember and participate on lots of dicsussions and trainings about the field of the youthwork. He will be an exemple for our local youngsters and volunteers, but also youth-workers, who will become more interested in doing exchange-projects and voluntarism abroad.
