"Xplore & Xpress!" - Exploring Cultures Through Costume" exchange project brought together young people from Sweden, Poland, Lithuania and the Czech Republic to address the issues of tolerance in nowadays' European society and the involvement of young people in cultural activities and how the situation can be improved by providing youth with more opportunities for self-expression through international cooperation and collaboration in forms of creative expression. The theme of the project was the exploration of creativity through the popular Japanese culture art of costume performance (Cosplay) and adaptation of lessons learnt in the intercultural environment of the European Union. The project took place in Vilnius, Lithuania and lasted for 8 days. During the course of it the participants met with inspiring youth leaders and creators, taking part in theatre, crafts and entrepreneurship workshop sessions, preparing a joint theatrical costume performance to address the most relevant issues they'd raised, organising an experience sharing discussion session that was carried out with the public during the "nowJapan" cultural festival, and created visual material to spread the results of the project.
