Wzmacnianie kompetencji dla skutecznej edukacji dorosłych (Stronger competences for succesful adult education)

The project "Strengthening the competencies for effective adult education" is an initiative of the Foundation for the NGO " Umbrella " and partner organizations Active Senior Foundation and the Foundation for Social Change - Change.These organizations work in the area of adult education within the development of key competences.The partnership was composed by organizations cooperating on a daily basis in the area of social development and supporting their activities at the local, regional and national level, seeking to broaden its coverage of the European dimension inadult education, vocational training for non-profit sector and to work towards social cohesion. In deciding to initiate a consortium of organizations created a joint European Development Plan, which determines their development strategy .It includes the following areas of development :- Professionalization of activities on adult education- The professionalization of management activities and European educational projects- Development of competence of employees- Development of a network of partners at European levelThe aim of the project was to develop and strengthen the competences of employees, managers and some volunteers in following areas: management of international projects concerning education, management of organization,development of competences in the area of adult education and the development of interpersonal skills. Achieving these goals has contributed to the strategic objectives described in the European Development Plan.These objectives partnership consortium has achieved through the preparation and implementation of 14 educational mobilities (in the form of seven tandem training) involving the participation of staff and volunteers in specialist trainingcourses organized by foreign entities of three European countries (Italy, Greece, Cyprus):1. Plan and Manage Effectively your European Educational Project2. Management of European partnership and mobility projects3. Develop sustainable European educational projects based on effective dissemination and exploitation techniques and tools4. Emotionally Wise Educators - Dealing with Stress and Difficult Emotions5. NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) - Tools for Better Life and Empowering Education6. Develop of competences in the field of adult education7. Cooperation between the worlds of education and work.Training courses were focused on three main areas of development:I. Planning and management of European educational projects,II. Develop interpersonal skills necessary for teaching,III. Developing competence in the field of adult education.The project participants were adult education staff (trainers, consultants, animators, tutors, coordinators, managers).To effectively implement the project and achieve high quality results of the project, the following activities were planned and implemented:I. the cross-cutting activities (coordination, accounting, communication between national and foreign partners, promotion and dissemination, and monitoring and evaluation)II. specific activities (preparation of participants, planning individual mobilities, implementation of mobilities for training / courses, reporting results, replication of knowledge).Achieved results of the project are visible in three dimensions:1) INDIVIDUAL DIMENSION - impact on participants (staff) personal and professional development, development of competences (increase of knowledge and skills, a change in attitudes) needed educational work2) INSTITUTIONAL DIMENSION - impact on the organizations forming the consortium: the professionalisation of the educational offer, increasing the potential and attractiveness of the organization, increasing the international dimensionof organizations3) LONG TERM EFFECTS - more professional educational services provided by the consortium and their staff what lead to the professional and personal development of organisations’ beneficiaries (clients in terms of organizations aswell as individuals).
