The project "Cooperation of European schools to produce, use and disseminate Open Educational Resources with the use of ICT" will be run by four high schools. The Polish school coordinating the project - "General High School No. 14 in Poznan", and partners: "Bolvadin Anadolian" - a state general high school in Turkey, "Economic Technological High School of Tourism" from Romania and technical high school with a culinary , touristic and economical profile from Italy "IIS - "VIALE ADIGE". The implementation of the project will last 24 months. At this time, we plan to carry out: - 4 three-day Transnational Project Meetings (3 staff from each school, one meeting in each of the partner country) - 4 short-term (lasting five days) student exchange mobilities (10 students and 3 adults from each location, one meeting in each of the partner country) - we are going to produce 7 Intelectual Outputs significant in terms of quality and coverage. We will disseminate these and all other products of the project on a regular basis in a variety of ways, but especially during the multiplier events. During the project also other measures will be taken to achieve the project goals. Participants and recipients of our project will be: students and their parents, teachers, local communities, local and central government as well as non-governmental organizations. About 75 people will be directly involved in the work on the project and the mobilities, including students, teachers and staff of all partner schools. Indirectly about 10 000 people. They will be all people who will be engaged in the work on the project, people we will reach through the dissemination activities, and peolpe who will be recipients of our open educational resources. Methodology (working methods) used during the project include: workshops, training, participant observation, discussion, brainstorming, project work, analysis of activities, analysis of documents. The partner group includes institutions that have proved wider interest in the implementation of innovation in the learning process through achieving specific objectives, using Erasmus plus. The idea for the project arose in part from the need for the more significant development, but also from the passion of all teachers and staff. In the center of our project is a high school student. A "digital native" (Mark Prensky) - a person who needs a learning environment rich in all kinds of different media, a person who by constant contact with the technology absorbs and processes knowledge in a different way than " digital immigrants" - adults, people for whom learning to use technology is as difficult as learning a foreign language. The overall aim of this project stems from understanding the need to build a bridge between digital natives and digital immigrants, between students and teachers. Hence, the main objective of our project is to use technology to make the development of our students more efficient and creative. We want to learn how to bridge the gap that separates us from our students, we want to share good practices and experiences. During the project we will be trained, we will organize object lessons, workshops using ICT, we will create and use Open Educational Resources, create and conduct interactive games and city bike tours using multimedia guidebooks and interactive maps, etc. In addition, we wish to awaken in our students the need for personal development. Our goal is to reduce the students' and teachers' communication barriers and to increase language skills. We hope to make pupils and teachers more open to other cultures, to promote valuable European values, and the ability to work in a diverse group in terms of language and customs. Planned results: - increase in the language competence and independence for both the students and the teachers - openness to the culture and customs of other countries - improving knowledge about the culture, history and traditions of the partner countries - an increase in self-esteem - improvement of the professional image of the teacher - increase of competence in ICT - enriching teachers' working methods - increased motivation for further development of students and teachers - improvement of the academic performance of students - learning tools for self-study - learning the methods of learning in the partner countries - becoming more attractive future emploee on the labor market - improving entrepreneurial skills. Long term benefits will be seen in the activities of the people who are students today but in the future they will have a real impact on European cooperation, partnership and integration despite all the differences that will not separate, but inspire.
