The project seeks to investigate the model of the participation of parents in the educational systems of European countries, and thus to improve the education of parents and assist them in their educational activities. The strategic partnership focuses on the activities that increase the educational offer for parents in the participating countries: Spain, Turkey, Italy and Poland. The duration of the project is 2 years. The strategic partnership adopts a flexible way of the partner institutions' functioning. The organizations selected for the project represent: public and private organizations active in the field of adult education, associations, foundations, cultural institutions, local authorities. The cooperation encompasses NGOs, civil organisations, public sector institutions, including local and regional authorities and enterprises of the partner countries participating in the Erasmus +. The proposal of the project is based on the analysis of real and relevant needs, on existing know-how and practice. Three specific objectives have been defined and are achievable, especially taking into account the nature and experience of the partnership: 1). The development of adults' educators' skills with a view to achieving wider extent and better learning outcomes. 2). Improving and extending the offer of high-quality learning opportunities tailored to the needs of parents through innovative forms of contact and conducting training. 3). Promoting the position, participation and activity of parents in social and cultural learning for the sake of personal development and self-realization. Specific objectives are realistic and constitute solutions to problems which are relevant to each of the partners and the target group. The proposed activities have been tailored to the identified needs and aimed at achieving specific goals. The project will contribute to significant benefits that the participants, participating institutions, target groups and stakeholders will achieve. The expected impact of the project on the participants will cover: expanding the competences in "adult eduacation" - the character of parents' education; improving intercultural competences; extending thematic vocabulary; increasing job satisfaction. The expected impact of the project on the institutions involved: improving the quality of functioning on the basis of European standards; mutual learning; transfer of good practices; increasing the number of participants of educational events related to the participation of parents; improving the cooperation between the partners; preparation for the implementation of innovative solutions; improving the image of the institution; granting European character to the activities undertaken by the statutory bodies. Impact of the project on the target groups: - strengthening the motivation of parents for participating in the process of life-long learning; -the support of overcoming barriers; encouraging parents to undertake further training; participation in the Lifelong Learning; intellectual, psychological and social activation of parents; expanding knowledge and acquisition of new skills. The impact of the project will be visible in an increase in the number of adults who participate in education (increasing the ratio of adults in education with reference to Indicators "Education and Training 2020"). We anticipate that the project will have a significant impact on local, regional, national and European level. The project stands a chance of influencing the development of partners' regions through promotion, information, valorisation and dissemination of results. In the project various types of activities intended to disseminate results will be carried out. Partners will apply creative and innovative thinking in order to exploit the best ways to promote the project results. Sustainability of the project results will constitue the capability of continuing the project and the use of its results beyond the funding period. The project results will be applicable in the long term by involving them in daily activities. Dissemination and exploitation of the results is a process which goes beyond the project and will continue in the future.
