The aim of the project is practical training in modern farms located in Hungary. Project participants are students of technical college in Janów Podlaski specializing in agricultural mechanization techniques. Practical training will be held in large farms cooperating with voluntary organization "South Hungary - European Union". These farms operate at a high level and take on trainees from various European countries for many years. During the internship, students will not only gain the knowledge of how the large farms operate, but also they will learn about technical devices used on farms with such a high degree of mechanization in production processes. The project participants come from families maintaining their own family farms. After leaving school, some students plan to take over the farm, enlarge and modernize them to increase their economic potential. Other participants are going to obtain jobs in large farms that are looking for employees skilled in operating and maintenance of modern agricultural machinery. Understanding the culture of a foreign country, the acquisition of the ability to work in a multicultural team and the need to communicate in a foreign language will be the next step in the development of these students. Gained new skills and experience will enable them to plan and put the development of family farms into practice more efficiently, as well as it will improve their chances of finding work after completing their education. The project is part of a development strategy of our Administrative Region, which is agricultural, and foresees creation and development of farms with a strong economic potential. The project is consistent with the objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union, which in the years 2015-2020, provides support for modernization of agricultural holdings, support for the restructuring of small farms and enlargement support farms policy.
