In cooperation with our partner schools in Estonia, Hungary, Italy and Slovenia, each sub-project will be organized in two phases: During the first phase, BBS Peine will welcome a group of students from the partner schools abroad and arrange internships in Peine companies; during the second phase, BBS Peine will send students abroad, and in return the partner schools will arrange internships in companies for the German students. The project aim is to qualify trainees for the German as well as the European job market by enhancing professional skills, language skills and international competences.Professional skill will be enhanced by training-related internships and attending specific classes at the partner schools. All gained skills and competences will be certified by the Europass mobility which will contribute to the students' CV and thus widen employment chances.Language skills will be improved by aktively using the foreign language in authentic situations outside language classes. Students will overcome their timidity to use their language skills and practice communication in a foreign language. Moreover, they will be motivated to learn further foreign language apart from English.Apart from professional skills, the internships allows insights into all-day situations and working life of a foreign culture. Students get to know typical values, behaviour as well as perception and cognition patterns. They will experience more than the obvious cultural characteristics a common tourist would perceive.Special professional as well as intercultural skill are of particular importance in private and working life since Europe has become a multilingual and multicultural society. The project intends to systematically enhance these significant competences.
