In Lahti folk high school it is possible to complete two different competence-based qualifications, further vocational qualification in learning support and morning and afternoon club activity instruction at school and further qualification for child minders. We plan to send four adult candidates for those qualifications to on-the-job training to Sweden. Also teachers from both qualifications will visit the students during their mobility and make sure that the work practice itself corresponds with the requirements of the competence-based qualifications. They will also develop cooperation with the swedish partner even further. After the training they will demonstrate their vocational competence in Finland. Candidates plan the goals for the training themselves based on the criteria of the specific vocational module they plan to demonstrate after the training. After completing the competence-based qualification, many of them are employed to the same region(Lahti area, Paijat-Hame in Finland) and then take their experiences and knowledge to new organizations and people and thus contribute to the development of international cooperation in the region.
