Work on Social Cooperation
Date du début: 1 sept. 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

WOSOCOOP – Work on Social Cooperation, is a project focused on youth unemployment, promoting participation and inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. The project is in line with the Action KA1 Learning Mobility of Individuals of the new ERASMUS + programme, which comprises, among the other activities, the mobility for young people and youth workers. The project was centred on a Training Course "Youth Unemployment: Working on Social Cooperation", based on Non-Formal Learning Methodology. The TC gathered youth workers and young leaders from different organisations based in EU and EECA with the aim to tackle the issue of Youth Unemployment with particular attention to social work and the cooperative sector. The presence of participants from both EU and EECA countries allowed the analysis of some successful models of these countries, and the inter-cultural exchange of ideas and good practices. The participants were youth workers with experience in social and/or voluntary work with young people, as requested from the project. The Training Course was conducted using interactive and participative approaches, where active participation and teamwork were the main features. Participants were invited to contribute actively to the training, workshops and other interactive sessions. Daily evaluations allowed participants to give their feedback to the course and trainers. We believe that the project achieved the forecast goals: - To foster youth employment through providing youth with the skills and knowledge to easily approach the labour market; - To increase youth active participation in the society. Results and impact : the technical, social and cognitive skills acquired during the training course were then disseminated in the 18 participants’ countries with a multiplier effect. Long-term benefits : we believe that the participants, trained on social entrepreneurship, will reply the cooperative model, where possible, to answer to youth unemployement.
